PG&E provided $400,000 in 2025 in Resilience Hubs Grants to multiple organizations to help communities address climate and disaster needs.

Ambrose Recreation and Park District was awarded the a $25,000 grant in collaboration with Contra Costa County to assess what would be needed for the Ambrose Community Center to function as a resilience hub. The Ambrose Recreation and Park District is working with the County to obtain community input. This research will help the County understand what will be needed to create resilience hubs across the County.

Through the Bay Area Regional Energy Network, Ambrose is also looking at infrastructure upgrades that will allow the community center to operate more efficiently.
